Become an INVESTOR! Intervarsity Stock Challenge 2019
This intervarsity stock challenge 2019 is presented by N2N Connect with the support from 3 universities and 3 stock broking companies. A total of 1000 trading accounts for a period of 3 months are expected to participate in this stock challenges. The price list of this challenge is presented below.
Grand prize- RM30,000
First runner up -RM20,000
Second runner up- RM10,000
On top of that, weekly prizes per 2 weeks will be given out starting with RM2000 followed by RM1000, RM500 respectively with the total of 24 weekly prizes. Any team is not allowed to qualify for the weekly prize more than once.
The participant can register as a solo trader or a team up to max 4 persons. The game period will start from 2 May 2019 – 26 July 2019 for a period of 3 months and the registration will commence 4 weeks before the official challenge start date through the official stock challenge website. A virtual startup capital of RM100,000 will be allocated. The 3 uni-broker teams will compete with each other to produce the most profitable and best trading strategies. 5 teams from each university will be selected by the sponsoring broker to attend the final round and closing ceremony.
An opening ceremony will be held on 17 April 2019 (Wednesday) morning and each registered participant is required to attend the opening ceremony to complete a verification process to claim the login credentials which will be sent to the team leader. The ceremony will encompass the officiating of the Inter-Varsity Stock challenge, trading crash course and strategy briefing by the sponsoring broker.
During the closing ceremony, the selected teams will be required to present their trading strategy to a panel of industry judges. Top 3 winners will be selected to receive their grand prizes.
