A group of MMU students from Cyberjaya, Melaka and Johor campuses who had been stranded on campus during the Movement Control Order (MCO) returned to their homes in several phases recently. “Ops Hantar Pulang Pelajar “ operation was led by Student Affairs Division (STAD) through its Sports Unit. The operation was conducted in accordance with instruction and guidelines from the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). In addition, MMU Alumni Society and Yayasan Universiti Multimedia (YUM) also provided financial assistance in ensuring the “Ops Hantar Pulang Pelajar” went smoothly.
Besides that, the operation was also supported by other institutes of higher learning which involved 114 students including Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Lendu, Politeknik Merlimau, Kolej Universiti Islam Melaka (KUIM), Universiti Malaya (UM), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USIM) Kuala Lumpur and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). The students were sent to the nearby Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) before going home with their families.
