Staff promotion exercise is conducted on a yearly basis. The effective date of promotion will be on the 1st August of the year.

For the academic post, application is opened to all academicians. For the non academic post, staff can only apply for the vacant positions as advertised only.

Promotion Forms can be accessed from the IntraNet or collected directly from Human Capital Management Division. The form has to be completed and returned to the Human Capital Management Division according to the given deadlines. Form that is submitted after the deadlines will not be processed by the Division.

Only the short-listed candidates will be called for the Promotion Interview. The Peer Committee will make their final decision on the staff’s promotion application upon the recommendation of the Head of Department. Results of the promotion will be communicated to the candidates in writing.
