FOM Students Excel at Varsity Track and Field and Archery Championships

Two students from the Faculty of Management (FOM) recorded notable results at the Varsity Track & Field (VTF) Grand Final 2026 and Varsity Archery Championship Grand Final 2026.

Ruveshwaran A/L Balachandran won gold in the Men’s 10,000m at the VTF Grand Final, held at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) from 2 to 4 October 2026. This follows his gold medal in the same event at the 2025 VTF Grand Final, where he set a championship record of 33.41.

At the Varsity Archery Championship Grand Final at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Alia Qursyiah binti Mazlan won two gold medals in the Women’s Recurve, taking the top spot in both the Qualification Round and Elimination Round. She also finished third overall in the championship.  The achievements add to the sporting accomplishments of FOM students at the university level, with both Ruveshwaran and Alia representing MMU in their respective events.

Congratulations!
