MMU Receives Visit from ALAM Delegation

MMU welcomed a visit from a delegation of Akademi Laut Malaysia (ALAM), led by its Chief Executive, Prof. Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Abu Abdullah, to the Cyberjaya campus on 7 July 2026. The delegation was received by MMU President, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, together with Vice President of Student Experience and Entrepreneurship Development, Prof. Ir. Dr. Zulfadzli Yusoff and other MMU officials.

During the visit, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham shared an overview of MMU’s development, highlighting the university’s academic excellence, research and innovation ecosystem, industry collaborations, global achievements, and strategic initiatives in producing future-ready graduates. The session also provided an opportunity for both institutions to exchange insights on higher education, talent development, and potential areas for future collaboration.

The visit concluded with a discussion on strengthening ties between MMU and ALAM, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing academic excellence, industry engagement, and the development of highly skilled graduates to meet the evolving needs of the nation.
