Vishsan A/L Logeswaran from the Faculty of Applied Communication (FAC) has added another accolade to his growing list of achievements by emerging as the champion in the Public Speaking category (18 years and above) at the 3rd (2026) International English Speech Art and Drama Competition (IESAD) via online held on 16 June 2026.
Organised by the Yrete Tenue International Culture Fellowship, World Music Art Academies Association, and Euro-Asia Outstanding Students Association, the competition brought together talented speakers and performers from educational institutions across Europe and Asia.
Competing against participants from various countries across the Euro-Asia region, Vishsan delivered a speech titled “Not Less Human, Just Human Differently”, which explored the topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI) surpassing human capability. His speech impressed the judges with its clarity, originality of thought, critical analysis, and confident delivery. The achievement comes on the heels of his recent victory at the Malaysian National Public Speaking Championship, marking his second major public speaking title within a short period.
The international competition also marked Vishsan’s debut appearance at IESAD, with his success supported by the guidance and coaching of Ms. Raja Razana, a lecturer from FAC. Congratulations to Vishsan on this outstanding achievement and for making MMU proud on the global stage.
