RenTak Dance Team Secures Second Place in IPTS Category at FESCO 2026

We are pleased to share that the RenTak Dance Team, representing the university, secured second place in the Private Higher Education Institution (IPTS) Category and won a cash prize of RM2,000 at the Festival of Colours of the World (FESCO) 2026, held at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Perak.

The RenTak Dance Team impressed judges and audiences with their performance titled “New Creation Borneo – Ethnic Dance,” which highlighted the richness of Bornean cultural heritage through expressive choreography, storytelling elements, and traditional-inspired movements.

Organised by the UTP Performing Arts Group (UPAG), with support from the Student Affairs Division’s Talent Empowerment Unit, the 17th edition of the festival featured 40 competing teams and showcased a diverse range of dance traditions, cultural heritage, and artistic expression from Malaysia and beyond.
