Faris Fiqran Emerges Champion in MDA Public Speaking Competition

Muhammad Faris Fiqran Mohamad from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) achieved another milestone when he was crowned champion in the University Category (Bahasa Melayu) at the Pertandingan Pidato Peranti Perubatan 2025, held on 7 October 2025 in Cyberjaya. The competition was held in conjunction with the ‘Program Kesedaran Awam Peranti Perubatan’, jointly organised by the Medical Device Authority (MDA) under the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) with the support of University of Cyberjaya.

Competing against participants from various local universities, Faris impressed the judges with his eloquence, confidence, and thought-provoking speech. For his outstanding performance, he received a cash prize and a commemorative plaque from Dato’ Lukanisman Awang Sauni, Deputy Minister of Health. His success serves as an inspiration to fellow MMU students to strive for excellence beyond the classroom, uphold the spirit of distinction, and make the university proud.
