Congratulations to Yang Jia En, representing the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI), and her outstanding teammates: Annaim Jamhari from the University of Malaya (UM), Magdalena Maya David (UM), Chia Wen Qi (UM), and Firdaus Rosol from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), for their remarkable victory at the Huawei Sales Elite Challenge 2024. This thrilling competition unfolded amidst the prestigious setting of the DoubleTree Hilton by Kuala Lumpur & Huawei Malaysia TRX on April 19th to 20th, 2024.

The triumphant team was awarded a significant cash prize of RM15,000, symbolising their exemplary performance and dedication. Participation in the event was diverse, with students hailing from esteemed Malaysian universities including Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), and others.

Over a hundred talented students engaged in rigorous presentations and interviews conducted by Huawei, with only the top 50 advancing to the Finale. These finalists were then randomly grouped into 10 teams, each comprising 5 members. The intensive two-day program centred around addressing two challenging case studies, focusing on both B2B and B2C scenarios. Participants were tasked with devising innovative solutions, which were presented directly to Huawei managers and senior product managers.

Yang Jia En and her teammates exemplified dedication and ingenuity, investing their efforts into crafting comprehensive digital marketing campaigns, product posters, sales funnels, and project contracts. Their collaborative spirit, openness to feedback, tireless work ethic, and analytical prowess undoubtedly contributed to the excellence of their solutions, capturing the attention of the esteemed judges.

Congratulations on this remarkable achievement!
