Multimedia University (MMU) through its Strategic Marketing Department (SMD) hosted the “Majlis Penyampaian Watikah Lantikan Sekolah Angkat MMU 2024/2025” with 30 adopted schools on 22 April 2024. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Professor Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU at the MPH, Cyberjaya campus.

The adoption programme aims to assist schools in various fields where MMU holds a slight advantage as a leading multimedia institution. The three main areas targeted include Digital Education Transformation, STEM and innovation excellence, and Career Pathway Exposure related to the Industrial Revolution, focusing not only on Industry 4.0 but also on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI.

Moreover, the event also witnessed the presentation of a certificate of appointment to MMU by the Educational Technology and Resources Division, Ministry of Education Malaysia and the Educational Technology and Resources Sector, Melaka State Education Department, affirming MMU’s strategic partnership as a strategic partner for the ASEAN Data Science Explorers 2024 Development Programme.

Furthermore, the event served as the launch platform for collaborative efforts between MMU and Leave a Nest, where MMU has been designated as a key strategic partner for the Science Castle Program in Malaysia. This collaboration aims to foster excellence in STEM among Malaysian youth.

Additionally, an MOU exchange between Leave a Nest and MMU has been conducted to explore further cooperation in research and development, innovation, and entrepreneurship. MMU thanks all the partners involved for the trust and opportunities given. Together, we definitely will be achieving higher impact outcomes.
