The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) welcomed fourteen students and one professor from MIT-World Peace University (MIT-WPU, Pune, India) for an exciting three-day international workshop from 27 until 29 February 2024. This workshop was organised by FET and supported by the staff members of Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FIST).  

The participants underwent several modules including Computer Vision, Image Processing and Basic Ethical Hacking. At the end of the workshop, mini quiz assessments were conducted to gauge the participants’ understanding upon completing the programme. During the closing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Ng Poh Kiat, the FET dean expressed his gratitude to the delegation for participating in the programme and committee members who worked tirelessly in ensuring the smooth running of the workshop.  

The delegation of MIT-WPU also expressed their heartfelt appreciation to MMU for hosting the short exchange programme and looking forward to returning for more engagements and activities in the future. The participants also received the certificates as a recognition for completing this programme. It is hoped that all participants obtained insightful perspectives and knowledge throughout the programme.
