On 3rd August 2022, MMU welcomed its new students of July 2022 intake at the Cyberjaya and Melaka campuses. The students came to the campuses with their parents and family members, and they continued with the first session of Week of Immersion and Networking (WIN) after the registration. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU also conducted his “Up Close & Personal Session” with the new students at the Melaka campus, where it was also followed virtually by students in Cyberjaya. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham welcomed the students to MMULand and encouraged and motivated the students to embrace the change and challenges as they are transitioning to university life.
This three-day programme, conducted by Student Lifestyle and Experience (STyLE), is designed to help freshies to familairise themselves with the campus facilities, rules and regulations as well as introduction to the administrative department. Besides that, the freshies also were briefed on the financial assistance from MMU Bursary and the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) during the programme.
