A group of students from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) partook in an international joint exchange programme in Thailand recently. The programme was organised by the Faculty of Engineering of Naresuan University (NU) which was also participated by students from De La Salle University-Dasmarinas (Philippines).

The programme provides the opportunity for students to engage and expand their network to international levels. The programme encourages students to step out from their comfort zones and experience different cultures, lifestyle and university life of other countries. The students also had the opportunity to socialise and communicate as the programme consisted of balanced combinations of academic and leisure activities. During the programme, the students improved their knowledge with several workshops namely Creative Thinking Workshop, Microcontroller and Sensors for Innovative Applications Workshop, VR Workshop, Autodesk And 3D Printing Workshop and Laser Cut Workshop.

Apart from that, they also visited some cultural sites such as Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, Sukhothai Historical Park and Phitsanulok City tour. They also made a visit to ASEAN Smart Grid Simulator which focuses on the modern lifestyles and efficient living environment. The participants gave positive responses and they are looking forward to the next episode of the exchange programme in the future.
