Faculty of Management (FOM) kicked off a Students Exchange Programme by giving a warm welcome session to a group of 13 students from Kanagawa University, Japan at Multimedia University (MMU) Cyberjaya, recently.

The students will be completing a one-year exchange programme with the aims to enable them to explore new experience by mingling around with the local students as well as to exchange cultural experiences through food presentation, dance, and singing.

During the session, the local students presented fashion show showcasing the traditional costumes of Malaysia and Japan, demonstrated traditional games and the students’ exchange from Kanagawa University presented two dances and demonstrated origami which is the art of paper folding and it is often associated with Japanese culture.  Aside from many interesting performances, the exchange students were introduced to Malaysian cuisine. Representing FOM was Ms Lilian Anthonysamy and Ms Rekha Thangatorai who organised the event, and also Dr Ong Jeen Wei, Deputy Dean of Staff and Student Affairs of FOM.
