MMU Introduces AI Tools to Media Practitioners

MMU, in collaboration with Kelab Media Putrajaya, hosted a one-day AI Training for Media workshop on 29 September 2026 at the AI Design Lab, MMU Cyberjaya. The workshop was graced by MMU President Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, together with Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Admission and Recruitment (SMART), Mr. Zambri Pawanchik.

The workshop brought together media practitioners from Kelab Media Putrajaya to learn more about the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in their work. The session covered practical applications of AI in media and communications, giving participants the opportunity to explore how AI tools can support content creation and other media-related tasks.

The workshop was conducted by Prof. Dr. Ooi Chee Pun, Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Engineering (FAIE), together with his team. Coordinated by the Corporate Communication Department (CCD), the workshop also allowed participants to learn directly from MMU’s AI experts and exchange views on the use of AI in the media field. The session also marked an opportunity for MMU and Kelab Media Putrajaya to share knowledge and strengthen their engagement, particularly in the area of AI and media.
