A total of 614 students from the Faculty of Management (FOM) were recognised for their academic achievements at the Dean’s List Award for Trimester 2610, held on 30 September 2026 at the FOM Atrium, Multimedia University (MMU), Cyberjaya. Themed Beyond the Blue Sky, the ceremony recognised the students’ performance while encouraging them to continue working towards their personal and career goals.

In her speech, the Prof. Dr. Tan Booi Chen, FOM Dean congratulated the recipients and said the achievement reflected their effort, discipline, commitment and determination throughout the trimester. She also acknowledged students who had been on the Dean’s List for several consecutive trimesters, highlighting the consistency needed to maintain strong academic performance.

The students were reminded that the Dean’s List is a milestone, not the destination. Beyond their academic results, they were encouraged to develop skills such as critical thinking, communication, problem-solving and teamwork, while taking up opportunities to learn outside the classroom. The ceremony was led by Dr. Noor Shahaliza Othman, together with the dedicated committee members who worked behind the scenes to ensure the event was organised smoothly and meaningfully. The ceremony also included a special tribute to the late Tun Siti Hasmah, bringing the FOM community together to remember and honour her contributions.

Meanwhile, the Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FIST) held its Dean’s List Award Ceremony for Term 2610 on 25 September 2026 at the CLC A2, Melaka campus. A total of 678 students were recognised, with approximately 200 students attending the ceremony.

Certificates were presented to students in recognition of their academic performance and commitment throughout the trimester by Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Siti Fatimah Abdul Razak, FIST dean. The ceremony also acknowledged students who maintained a high CGPA while contributing to the university community. The ceremony was led by Mr Alvin Lim, with the strong support of the dedicated committee members ensured the event was conducted smoothly and successfully.
