InL’26 Inspires the Next Generation of Ethical Leaders

The final session of the Integrity and Leadership Day 2026 was culminated at the MMU Cyberjaya on 30 September 2026 at Dewan Tun Canselor, Cyberjaya campus. The session was officiated by Dato’ Seri Haji Mustafar Haji Ali, Member of the Board of Directors, Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM) and Chairman of RapidBus. MMU President, Prof. Dato’ Ts. Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, also attended the event.

The opening ceremony kicked off by with a speech by the Integrity and Leadership 2026 director, Ms Nur Samira Othman. The ceremony also featured the InL’26 Video Assignment, which challenged students to produce videos promoting awareness of integrity and leadership. The assignment received 105 submissions, with the top entries selected based on the judging criteria. The Champion, First Runner-Up and Second Runner-Up received cash prizes of RM300, RM200 and RM100 respectively, sponsored by Adina Charity Circle, along with food hampers.

With the title, “Ethical Leadership: Leading Right, Leading with Integrity”, the session featured two speakers namely Puan Nurhayati Dato’ Nordin, Chief Executive Officer of Rasuah Busters, who shared insights on ethical leadership and integrity. The programme also featured Dr. Wendy Lee, BrandImage Master Consultant, who spoke on building a strong professional image and the importance of personal branding in a professional environment.

Coordinated by the Learning Institute for Empowerment (LIfE) with the student committee members, this programme helped to expose to perspectives from professionals in integrity, governance and personal branding, while encouraged to consider how ethical values can shape their decisions, conduct and professional identity.
