The Faculty of Management (FOM) hosted an engaging and insightful industry talk titled “Managing Change and Innovation: Pos Malaysia’s Journey”, featuring Mr. Charles Brewer, Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of Pos Malaysia Berhad, as the distinguished speaker on 21 September 2026.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Bahma Sivasubramaniam, Mdm Nor Hazleza Mohamad, and Dr. Tan Jue Xin, and attracted students from the Faculty of Management (FOM) and the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI). The session provided students with valuable industry insights on leadership, innovation, and organisational transformation in today’s rapidly evolving business environment.
During the talk, Mr. Brewer shared Pos Malaysia’s remarkable transformation journey and highlighted how the organization has embraced change and leveraged the latest technological advancements to remain relevant and competitive. He discussed the strategic initiatives and digital innovations that have reshaped Pos Malaysia’s operations, customer experience, and future direction.
A key highlight of the session was Mr. Brewer’s emphasis on personal values and continuous self-development. He encouraged students to build strong individual values and character, dare to stand out from the crowd, always position themselves at the forefront of change rather than waiting for it to happen, continuously learn, equip themselves with new knowledge, and invest in personal growth.
