MMU and MFA Explore Potential Collaboration

A delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), led by Mr. Devrin Jeck, Undersecretary of the International Cooperation and Development Division (ICADD), made a visit to the MMU Cyberjaya campus on 22 September 2026. The delegation was received by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President and Chief Executive Officer of MMU, who shared an overview of the university’s development and areas of expertise. The visit was also attended by members of the university management.

The engagement provided a platform for MMU and the MFA delegation to explore potential areas of cooperation, including student and staff mobility, research and innovation, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, capacity building, industry engagement, talent development, TVET and lifelong learning.

The discussions also explored how closer connections between academia, government and industry could contribute to talent development, research and innovation, particularly in emerging areas of mutual interest. The engagement further opened avenues for MMU and the MFA to identify opportunities for knowledge exchange, student development and international engagement.
