Dr. Low Jing Hong, Assistant Professor from the Faculty of Management (FOM), was invited to deliver a series of academic lectures at the Civil Aviation Flight University of China (CAFUC) in Chengdu, Sichuan, recently. Hosted by CAFUC’s School of Humanities and Arts as part of its International Chinese Education special lecture series, the visit reflected the growing academic engagement between the two institutions.

During the visit, Dr. Low delivered a bilingual keynote titled “Current and Future Research Opportunities in E-Learning and Teaching,” where he shared insights on emerging trends in e-learning, technology adoption, teaching effectiveness, and future research directions. He also presented a second lecture, “Decoding the Architecture of the Malaysian Chinese Education Ecosystem,” providing participants with an overview of Malaysia’s Chinese education landscape while introducing FOM’s postgraduate programmes, particularly the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA).

The visit also included discussions with faculty members and postgraduate students, followed by an interactive question-and-answer session that encouraged the exchange of ideas on teaching, research, and higher education. Dr. Low was further welcomed by Professor Luo Jun, Director of CAFUC’s International Cooperation Department, and toured the university’s teaching and training facilities, including its Airbus A320 cabin simulators.

The invitation underscores the growing academic and research links between MMU and CAFUC while opening opportunities for future collaboration in teaching, research, and postgraduate education. It also reflects MMU’s continued commitment to strengthening its international academic network and promoting knowledge exchange with global higher education institutions.
