MMU World Cup 2026 Promotes Unity, Leadership and Sportsmanship Among Students

On 20 May 2026, the International Student Society (ISS) organised the MMU World Cup 2026 at the Cyberjaya campus. The event was officiated by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU.

In his speech, he highlighted that events such as the MMU World Cup serve as an important platform to foster unity, teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, and student engagement across the university. He noted that participation in such activities reflects the vibrant and inclusive spirit of the MMU community.

Beyond academic excellence, students are encouraged to build essential soft skills such as communication, teamwork, adaptability, and resilience, skills that are highly valued in today’s working environment.

He further noted that MMU has a strong tradition of sporting excellence, with student-athletes consistently representing the university at national and international levels. Also present were Prof. Ir. Dr. Zulfadzli Yusoff, Vice President of Student Experience & Entrepreneurship Development (VP SEED), Mr. Julien Pierre Bigot, Advisor of ISS, and STyLE officers.
