MMU Students Honoured at ICAEW Celebrating Excellence 2026

We are proud to share that eight Accounting students from the Faculty of Business (FOB) and Faculty of Management (FOM) were recognised as top performers at the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Celebrating Excellence 2026, held at Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur on 12 May 2026.

The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Lau Siong Hoe, Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement and Touchpoint; Prof. Dr. Goh Guan Gan, Director of Strategy and Quality Assurance; Dr. Siti Zakiah Melatu Samsi, Dean of the Faculty of Business; and Prof. Dr. Tan Booi Chen, Dean of the Faculty of Management.

The annual prize ceremony recognises Malaysia’s top-performing accounting students in each Professional and Advanced Level paper under the ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification. It serves as a celebration of resilience, dedication, and professional excellence among the next generation of chartered accountants.

On another important note, Multimedia University will commence the ICAEW Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) programme in July 2026, starting with the Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB) level, offering students the opportunity to pursue professional certification alongside their academic studies.
