The session highlighted practical strategies to improve communication, align expectations, and foster constructive collaboration between supervisors and students throughout the research journey. These elements were emphasised as essential in supporting timely progress, research quality, and academic confidence among postgraduate researchers.
Participants, comprising both postgraduate students and academic staff, actively engaged in the discussion, reflecting strong interest in strengthening supervisory engagement within the faculty’s research ecosystem.
Coordinated by Dr. Sellywati Mohd Faizal, with the support of Prof. Dr. Tan Booi Chen, Dean of Faculty of Management (FOM) and Dr. Kwan Jing Hui, the initiative underscores the faculty’s commitment to enhancing postgraduate research culture through structured academic development activities and capacity-building efforts.
