Ten student teams from the Faculty of Business (FOB) participated in the Business Innovation Exhibition held on 19 January 2026 at the i-Trade Lab, Melaka campus. Centred on the theme “Redefining Global Operations with Digital and Sustainable Innovation,” the programme was conducted under the Global Operations Management subject, with guidance from Assistant Professor Dr Tan Pei Kian.
The students were tasked with addressing real-world business and logistics challenges, requiring them to present innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable digital solutions aimed at strengthening operational efficiency and long-term competitiveness in the global market.
The exhibition provided students with valuable hands-on learning and industry-relevant exposure by integrating digitalisation, sustainability, and global operations strategy. It also aligned with the university’s initiative to foster a culture of research, innovation, and entrepreneurship among students and staff. The platform enabled participants to translate theoretical knowledge into practical solutions while honing essential skills such as project leadership, teamwork, and strategic problem-solving.
Student presentations were evaluated by Dr Yeow Jian Ai, Dr Chow Mei Min, Dr Nor Hasliza Binti Mat Hasan, and Mr Hew Wee Lim, lecturers from the BBA (Hons) International Business programme. The event concluded with a prize presentation recognising the Best Teams and Best Presenters.
Well done!
