MMU Alumni Clinches Awards at 34th Malaysia Film Festival (FFM)

Our Permata Dunia recently made our university proud at the 34th Malaysia Film Festival (FFM) on 1 November 2025, which was held at the Seri Angkasa Auditorium, Angkasapuri Kota Media, where they were recognised for their contributions to the local film industry.

Mr. Muhammad Usamah Zaid Yasin, who is also an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM), received the Special Jury Award 1 for Ejen Ali The Movie 2. Another alumnus, Mr. Azri Yunus, was also recognised when he and his team won Skor Muzik Asal Terbaik for Soloz: Game of Life.

The festival, organised by FINAS in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications, continues to be an important platform for celebrating achievements in Malaysian cinema. We at MMU congratulate both alumni and wish them continued success in their future work.
