Unveiling Entrepreneurial Journeys in Virtual Innovation Session

A total of 25 students from the Diploma in Business Administration programme at the Faculty of Business (FOB) attended a virtual session titled “Building a Start-Up: From Idea to Execution” in April 2025. Organised by FutureLab and Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL), the session was conducted via Zoom and featured Vincent Chan, a lecturer at FOB and the founder of The ChangeMaker Academy. He delivered an inspiring talk on transforming ideas into impactful ventures.

The session was part of the Innovation and Design Thinking course, taught by Ms. Ikha Fadzila Binti Md Idris, and aimed to offer students real-world perspectives on entrepreneurship. Mr. Vincent guided the participants through the process of identifying viable ideas, developing prototypes, and executing plans with clear objectives. His practical insights and engaging storytelling sparked enthusiasm among the students. The session served as a valuable experience in cultivating innovative thinking and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among future business leaders.
