Complementing these perspectives, Dr. Karolina Wojnowska Paterek, Senior Lecturer from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia, Multimedia University, presented “Transformative Education in Public Space. Women, Advertising and Art in Public Space: From Influence to Transformation.” Her presentation examined whether public spaces function primarily as spaces for citizens or consumers, drawing attention to the influence of advertising, consumer culture, and the representation of women in public environments. She highlighted the potential of visual art to reclaim public spaces as platforms for education, critical reflection, social awareness, and transformative communication.

By connecting energy transition, empowered leadership, and socially engaged visual art, the webinar demonstrated that sustainable transformation requires innovative thinking, inclusive leadership, public awareness, and meaningful partnerships. The event also reflected MMU’s dedication to fostering collaborative solutions that empower individuals and communities to translate knowledge and creativity into lasting social and environmental impact. The interactive session concluded with an engaging Q&A, where participants explored women’s leadership, innovations in the energy transition, the role of visual art in advancing social awareness, and the importance of cross-sector partnerships in building inclusive and sustainable futures.
