A group of students from the Faculty of Business (FOB) recently organised an engaging educational event, STEM Car Race, for young learners at Tadika Sacred Heart Convent in Melaka on 25 September 2026.

The activity introduced the young learners to basic STEM concepts through a fun and hands-on car racing challenge. By designing, building and racing their cars, the children explored fundamental concepts such as science, motion and momentum, while also developing their creativity, problem-solving skills and teamwork.

Supervised by Mr Vincent Chan, the event also gave the students an opportunity to put their event planning and management skills into practice while creating an enjoyable learning experience for the children. Ms Denise, the Principal Teacher of Tadika Sacred Heart Convent, expressed her appreciation for the programme and shared positive feedback on the students’ efforts. She said the children had great fun while learning, making the activity both educational and enjoyable. Through the STEM Car Race, FOB students were able to put their event management skills into practice while sharing a fun learning experience with the children.
