The Faculty of Management (FOM) recently conducted a Knowledge Transfer Programme (KTP) at NADI Kampung Jawa, Kuala Rompin, Pahang, to raise awareness of Halalan Toyyiban practices among women and asnaf entrepreneurs.

Led by Dr. Junainah Mohd Mahdee, the programme was conducted in separate sessions for women participants and asnaf entrepreneurs. The sessions covered halal compliance, hygiene, product quality and ethical business practices. Participants were also introduced to digital tools and business strategies to support their business operations and marketing efforts.

The sessions included practical activities to help participants understand halal verification, including checking products through the JAKIM website, identifying halal logos from different countries and taking part in a Kahoot! quiz to assess their understanding.

The programme also highlighted the importance of choosing products and services that meet halal requirements while considering safety and quality in everyday life. Participants gained practical knowledge of halal requirements and how to apply Halalan Toyyiban principles to their businesses and daily decisions.
