MMU students from various faculties across the Cyberjaya and Melaka campuses gained insights into career opportunities in the banking sector through the UOB Career Connect programme, held at UOB Headquarters, Kuala Lumpur, recently.

The programme featured a LinkedIn Photoshoot, Career Connect and CV Clinic, giving students practical guidance on building their professional profiles, improving their resumes and preparing for the job search. Students also had the opportunity to engage with UOB representatives and learn more about potential career opportunities within the organisation.

The programme also introduced students to UOB’s diverse business functions, including Retail Banking, Channels & Digitalisation, Wholesale Banking and the Innovation Hub. Through these sessions, students gained a broader understanding of the roles and career pathways available across different areas of the banking industry.

The engagement provided students with practical perspectives on the workplace while helping them prepare for their transition from university to employment. It also strengthened the connection between MMU students and industry, giving them greater exposure to career opportunities beyond the classroom.
