Engaging Peer Support Students in Digital Ethics Programme

The Faculty of Management (FOM) conducted its Knowledge Transfer Programme (KTP), Think Before You Click: Ethics and Law in the Digital World, at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Bukit Changgang in October 2026. The programme involved students from the school’s Pembimbing Rakan Sebaya (Peer Support) team.

The programme introduced students to digital ethics, responsible online behaviour, relevant legal principles and appropriate responses to online incidents through interactive discussions and group activities. The students actively contributed their views throughout the session, reflecting their engagement with the issues discussed.

The programme also formalised the collaboration between MMU and SMK Bukit Changgang through a signing ceremony attended by the school principal, Tuan Haji Ahmad Fauzi bin Hashim. The school’s counsellors, Encik Sufian bin Ahmad and Puan Nik Norfadzlida binti Che Hashim, together with Puan Farihah binti Mohamad, supported the programme. Through this initiative, FOM continues to engage the school community in promoting awareness of ethical and responsible conduct in the digital environment.
