New MMU Students Begin Their Journey with a Week of Immersion and Networking

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, MMU President welcomed the newest cohort of students as they began their MMU journey, following their registration on 8 August 2026 at the Cyberjaya and Melaka campuses. The new students then embarked on a week-long Immersion and Networking (WIN) programme designed to help them settle into campus life, get to know their new surroundings and connect with the wider MMU community.

As part of the programme, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham welcomed the new students during an Up and Close Personal session held at the Melaka campus, while students in Cyberjaya joined the session online. The session gave students an opportunity to hear directly from the President as they took their first steps into university life.

During the session, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham shared his welcoming remarks and encouraged the students to make the most of their time at MMU, embrace new experiences and build meaningful connections throughout their university journey.

The week-long programme also featured a range of activities to familiarise students with the campus environment, academic life and the opportunities available at MMU. Through orientation sessions, networking activities and student engagement, the new intake had the opportunity to meet their peers, interact with members of the MMU community and gain a better understanding of university life.

More than just an introduction to the university, the WIN programme marked the beginning of a new chapter for the students as they settle into their new environment, form new friendships and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.
