As part of its efforts to strengthen industry-academia collaboration and promote knowledge transfer, the Office of Knowledge & Technology Transfer (KTT), Business Growth & University Sustainability (BGUS), coordinated an engagement and demonstration session featuring Verithos, an AI-powered research support platform introduced through Telekom Malaysia (TM) on 5 June 2026 at the Cyberjaya campus.

During the session, Mr. Ahmad Kashfi Alwi (Ash) from Verithos demonstrated the platform’s capabilities in supporting research workflows, including literature analysis, qualitative data interpretation, systematic literature reviews, and research documentation using researcher-provided materials. The platform also emphasises transparency and traceability in its analytical process, enabling users to better understand how AI-generated outputs are produced.

The session provided a valuable opportunity for participants to exchange views on the responsible use of AI in academia and explore how emerging technologies can enhance research productivity while upholding academic integrity. The engagement also reinforced MMU’s commitment to embracing innovative solutions and fostering collaborations that contribute to the university’s research and innovation ecosystem.

The session brought together representatives from the Vice President’s Office for Academy & Innovative Learning (AIR), TM R&D, Research Management (RM), Strategic Quality Assurance (SQA), and the Centres of Excellence (COEs).
