FOM Student and Team Win Top Honour at Darb 26 Hackathon 2026

Mohammed Waleed Abdulkafi Al Malami, a student from the Faculty of Management (FOM), together with teammates from other universities, won first place in the Darb 26 Hackathon 2026 under the category “University Life Experience and Student Activities Improvement”.

The hackathon, held in May 2026, brought together students from Arab universities to develop solutions aimed at improving various aspects of university life and student activities. Participants were challenged to present innovative ideas that addressed real needs within the higher education environment. Mohammed Waleed and his team impressed the judges with their proposed solution, teamwork, and presentation, earning them the top spot in the competition.
