A group of Doctor in Business Administration (DBA) students gained practical exposure through an industry talk titled “What Drives Real Business Credibility” held on 9 May 2026 via Microsoft Teams. The session provided postgraduate students with real-world insights into leadership, governance, and ethical decision-making as key drivers of organisational trust and long-term business sustainability.

The talk was delivered by Ms. Emiliawati Zainol, Managing Director of Q3 Management Solutions and UN Women WEPs Award recipient, who shared practical insights on how leadership, governance, and ethical decision-making shape trust and long-term sustainability in business. Students were also exposed to how credibility is built through consistent leadership practices, strong governance, and a culture of accountability and inclusion. The discussion further highlighted the link between internal organisational practices and external business reputation.

The session was moderated by Dr. Tan Chi Hau (Tim), Programme Coordinator of the DBA programme, with support from Prof. Dr. Chong Chin Wei and Dr. Abby Ashraff Bin Saprudin. The engagement strengthened the link between academic learning and industry practice, reinforcing the programme’s focus on developing critical thinking and applied understanding among postgraduate students.
