MMU welcomed students from universities across Malaysia for the Karnival Integriti dan Antirasuah (KIARA) Mahasiswa IPT Malaysia 2026, held on 18 April 2026 at its Cyberjaya campus. The event was officiated by Datuk Seri Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir, Minister of Higher Education and was also attended by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, MMU President.
The programme, organised by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), gathered participants from both public and private higher education institutions for a full-day engagement focused on integrity and anti-corruption awareness.
With the theme “Courage to Fight Corruption: Students as Catalysts of Change”, the programme featured forums, town halls, exhibitions and interactive sessions led by MACC and other enforcement agencies. Topics discussed included integrity in student leadership, financial accountability, and academic honesty.
The sessions encouraged open discussion between students and agencies, with a focus on real issues faced within campus environments. As the host venue, MMU provided the platform for the national gathering, which aimed to strengthen awareness on integrity and anti-corruption values among young people.
