TTO Drives Early 2026 IP Capacity Building Through Patent & Copyright Workshops

The Technology Transfer Office (TTO), MMU kick-started 2026 with a two-day Patent & Copyright Workshop held at the Cyberjaya and Melaka campuses in January 2026.

The workshops featured industry experts from Pro IP Sdn. Bhd., namely Pn. Nor Athirah binti Khairol Anuar, Head of the Trademark Department, and Pn. Nor Najihah Abdul Rahman from the Patent Department. Participants gained practical insights into intellectual property protection, filing strategies, and best practices to strengthen the protection and commercial readiness of their research outputs.

Organised as part of TTO’s continuous capacity-building initiatives, the workshops reflect MMU’s strong commitment to nurturing a robust intellectual property and innovation ecosystem, while supporting the University’s strategic goals in research, innovation, and impact-driven outcomes.
