On 13 February 2026, the MMU Superheroes Club concluded its first humanitarian initiative, Misi Bekal 1.0. Held in collaboration with Food For Gelandangan (FFG), the programme provided basic necessities to homeless individuals and urban poor communities in Kuala Lumpur.
The initiative was led by Event Director Aimanzarif Putra, Assistant Director Nurul Syadiyah, and Club President Feqhah Delilah, with guidance from Advisor Puan Nur Haslinda Binti Mohd Nasir and FFG representative Tuan Haji Azizan (Haji Tom). The committee raised nearly RM2,000 through a three-day fundraising booth at the Cyberjaya campus. Members of the MMU community also contributed preloved clothing, toys, and daily essentials.
A total of 40 volunteers took part in the distribution efforts. Survival kits were handed out to the homeless at Jalan Silang and Pudu Sentral, while groceries, infant supplies, and preloved items were delivered to 54 families in Lorong Haji Taib.
Through this initiative, the club demonstrated the “Generous and Caring” GEMS attribute while supporting MMU’s commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
Well done!
