An engaging industry-sharing session titled Employers’ Expectations Beyond Academic Qualifications was conducted for 150 students on 7 January 2026 at the Cyberjaya campus. The session was organised by lecturers from the Faculty of Management (FOM), namely Ms Fatin Zaida Zaidi, Ms Nurul Atiah Mohd Zin, Mr Alvis Chan Man Seong, and Ms Sharifah Ummu Naqiah Syed Shukran.
The session featured industry partners from Azmi Fadzly Maha & Sim (AFMSLAW), with insightful contributions from Mr Norazmi Norazman, Mr Ahmad Fadzly Abdul Gani, and Ms Jasneeta Bhullar, who are practising lawyers and owners of the law firm. The speakers shared valuable real-world perspectives on what employers truly seek beyond academic results, particularly the attitudes, skills, and professionalism expected from fresh graduates entering the workforce.
Students were highly engaged throughout the session, actively asking thoughtful questions and participating in meaningful discussions. The interactive sharing provided practical exposure to workplace expectations, helping students better understand how to prepare themselves for future careers and enhancing their readiness to transition from university to the professional environment.
