FOM Industry Sharing Session Explores the Future of Digital Finance

An engaging industry-sharing session titled “Finance 3.0: The Next Evolution of Digital Finance” was successfully conducted for approximately 150 students on 19 January 2026 at Cyberjaya campus. With Allianz’s support and collaboration, Mr. Peter Tan, Chairman of Millionaire Asia Holdings Pte Ltd, Singapore, was invited as the featured speaker.

Mr. Tan shared insightful perspectives on the evolution of digital finance, covering emerging trends, innovations, and the future direction of Finance 3.0 in the global financial landscape.  Students were highly engaged throughout the session, actively asking thoughtful questions and participating in meaningful discussions. The interactive sharing enhanced students’ understanding of digital finance developments and provided valuable exposure to real-world industry practices, contributing to their overall financial literacy and readiness to adapt to future financial ecosystems.

Overall, the session enhanced students’ understanding of contemporary digital finance developments, strengthened their financial literacy, and equipped them with industry-relevant knowledge essential for navigating future financial ecosystems. The session was organised by Faculty of Management (FOM) lecturers Ms Fatin Zaida Zaidi, Ms Nurul Atiah Mohd Zin, Mr Alvis Chan Man Seong, Ms Sharifah Ummu Naqiah Syed Shukran, and Dr Muhammad Afif Mohd Fathullah, with support from MMU Career Connect.
