MMU Welcomes the Next Generation of Digital Leaders

MMU warmly welcomed its new generation of digital leaders during the registration day held on 25 October 2025 at both Cyberjaya and Melaka campuses. The excitement continued with the Week of Immersion and Networking (WIN), a signature orientation programme designed to help new students familiarise themselves with university life, campus facilities, and the vibrant MMU community.

The highlight of the week was the President’s Inaugural Address delivered by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, at Dewan Tun Canselor. Students from the Melaka campus joined the session virtually. In his address, Prof. Mazliham encouraged the newcomers to embrace creativity, integrity, and a lifelong passion for learning as they embark on their academic journey.

Adding inspiration to the occasion, Mr. Prabaharan Sukumaran, MMU’s Permata Dunia (2002) and Partner at Bell Labs Consulting, joined live from San Francisco, USA to share his remarkable journey from being an MMU student to a global industry leader. His sharing resonated deeply with the students, motivating them to pursue their ambitions with confidence and resilience.

During the WIN Programme, our first MMU Chancellor, YABhg. Tun Dr. Hasmah Mohd Ali, visited the Cyberjaya campus to meet and share her words of wisdom with the new students in a special session held on 28 October 2025. The programme concluded with WIN Night on 30 October 2025, which was attended by Prof. Ir. Dr. Zulfadzli Yusof, Vice President of Student Experience and Entrepreneurship Development, together with STyLE officers.
