MMU and Content Forum Embark on Academia-Industry Collaboration through MoU Signing

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Multimedia University (MMU) and the Communications and Multimedia Content Forum of Malaysia (CMCF) was officially signed on 18 September 2025 at the Cyberjaya campus.

The MoU was signed by MMU President Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd. Su’ud and CMCF Chairman Datuk Rafiq Razali, witnessed by Ms. Mediha Mahmood (CEO, CMCF) and Ms. Nadia Mahmud (Dean, Faculty of Creative Multimedia). In attendance were Ts. Shafeeq Jibin (Dean, Faculty of Cinematic Arts), Dr. Syarifah Nurleyana Wafa (Director, International Collaboration and Engagement), Mr. Yusran Mazalan (Deputy Director, Government Liaison and Industry Engagement), and other MMU representatives.

This MoU signing marks the beginning of various collaborative efforts between MMU and the Content Forum, strengthening MMU’s industry linkages through academic collaborations, community engagement, exchange of practical knowledge, real-world expertise, and skills especially in relation to the creative multimedia industry. This academia-industry collaboration brings forth opportunities to ensure MMU students are nurtured into practitioners who will help shape and strengthen the digital future.
