FOM Student Wins Third Place at iDEA’25

Join us in congratulating Suaina Tan Su Ying binti Akid Arman Tan from the Faculty of Management (FOM) for winning third place in the Education Tech Category at the Innovation Development Through Educational Activities 2025 (iDEA’25), held at Institut Kemahiran Sukan Negara, Kuala Langat, from 16 to 17 August 2025. Her project, Jayden’s Augmented Reality Story Board Game (J.A.R.S), impressed the judges with its creativity and innovation.

Mentored by Mr. Vincent Chan from the Faculty of Business (FOB), Suaina’s project was selected from over 500 entries nationwide, with only the Top 3 finalists in each category chosen to compete for the championship on the event day. She walked away with the gold award and cash prize of RM500.

The prize-giving ceremony was officiated by Dato’ Ts. Dr. Nagulendran Kangayatkarasu, Secretary General of KBS, alongside Puan Chan Hong Jin, Deputy Secretary General (Strategic) KBS, Puan Dalila Sharingat, Director of Skills, Youth Skills Development Division, and Ts. Dr. Puteh Melor Wesma, Director of Institut Kemahiran Sukan Negara.
