On 20 August 2025, the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) collaborated with The Asia Foundation to organise a Resume Writing Workshop at the MMU Cinema, Cyberjaya campus. The session was conducted by Mr. Hilal Azman, a Certified Human Resource Officer, who shared practical tips and strategies for crafting impactful resumes tailored to industry expectations.

The workshop was organized by Assistant Professor Dr. Prabha Kumaresan from FCI, with additional support provided by Assistant Professor Dr. Lee Fong Yee from FCI, and was coordinated by Ms. Julianna Rushdi, Programme Officer at The Asia Foundation.

The workshop attracted 35 students, who gained valuable insights into presenting their skills, experiences, and achievements more effectively to potential employers. The interactive session also provided opportunities for students to ask questions and learn about current hiring trends, enhancing their readiness for the job market.

This event is part of FCI’s ongoing efforts to support students in developing essential career skills beyond the classroom, helping them be better prepared for future opportunities. The workshop concluded with a token of appreciation presented by Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Ng Kok Why, FCI Deputy Dean, to Mr. Hilal Azman and Ms. Julianna Rushdi.
