A two-day Knowledge Transfer Programme (KTP) was conducted by the Faculty of Management (FOM) lecturers at Abedeen Academy Private School from 21 to 22 July 2025. The programme engaged 33 Form 4 and Form 5 students, exposing them to two key modules: Financial Technology and AI-Assisted Business Analytics.

The sessions were facilitated by Ms. Fatin Zaida (Financial Technology), along with Ms. Sharifah Ummu Naqiah, Ms. Nurul Atiah, and Dr. Muhammad Afif Fathullah (AI-Assisted Business Analytics). Ms. Fatin and Ms. Nurul Atiah are from the Centre for Accounting, Finance, and Economics, while Ms. Ummu Naqiah and Dr. Afif represent the Centre for Management and Marketing Innovation. Special thanks are extended to Teacher Syahida, the coordinator from Abedeen Academy, for her invaluable support and collaboration throughout the programme.

Blending theory with practical learning, the modules introduced students to emerging technologies such as FinTech, Artificial Intelligence, Business Analysis, and Cybersecurity. Participants explored the fundamentals of financial technology, took part in group activities on needs, wants, and savings, and learned how to design effective AI prompts for business analysis.

This initiative reflects FOM’s commitment to cultivating digital competencies among youth, encouraging ethical and sustainable tech adoption, and strengthening impactful partnerships between academia and schools.
