Our student-athletes added another milestone to their growing list of accomplishments by clinching four gold and two silver medals at the Kejohanan Sukan Utama MASISWA 2025 (Fasa 2), held from 21 to 23 July 2025. The championship, jointly organised by Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UniTEN) and MASISWA, took place at the Sports Arena UniTEN and Lite Superbowl JB 8 in Kajang. The tournament featured four main sporting events: bowling, volleyball, netball, and sepak takraw.
MMU athletes delivered an outstanding performance in the bowling category, securing a total of six medals. In the men’s individual event, Anas Irfan bin Shahar from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) clinched the gold medal, while Muhammad Aimeer Shah bin Mohd Azmi from the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) earned the silver medal.
In the men’s team event, MMU secured another gold medal through the excellent teamwork of Muhammad Aimeer Shah bin Mohd Azmi (FCI), Muhammad Adib Danial bin Azizan from the Faculty of Management (FOM), Anas Irfan bin Shahar (FCM), and Muhammad Adam Safwan bin Safri (FCI).
The women bowlers also made the university proud. Alia Nadhira binti Mohd Adznam from FCI won gold in the women’s individual event. She continued her winning streak by teaming up with Nur Alya Natasha binti Azhar from the Faculty of Business (FOB) to secure another gold medal in the women’s pair event.
In the women’s team category, the MMU team brought home the silver medal. The team consisted of Alia Nadhira binti Mohd Adznam (FCI), Nur Alya Natasha binti Azhar (FOB), Noraleya Maisarah binti Nuhizam (FCI), and Wan Nur Adriana binti Wan Fikri from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM).
