On 7 July 2025, the Faculty of Management (FOM) hosted a successful External Examiner visit. The visit was led by the programme coordinator of the Bachelor of Management (Hons.)-ODL programme, Dr. Nor Azliana Aridi. The visit aimed to evaluate and enhance the Bachelor of Management (Hons.)-ODL programme offered by the faculty.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fariza Khalid, from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), conducted an academic evaluation of the Bachelor of Management (Hons.)- ODL programme during the visit. As the External Examiner of the programme, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fariza played a pivotal role in the process by conducting academic reviews, physical site visits, interviews with academics and Bachelor of Management (Hons.)-ODL students and delivering an engaging sharing session entitled “From Juggling to Thriving: Smart Strategies for ODL Success”.
The one-day event began with opening remarks by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Booi Chen, the FOM Dean, and included participation from the faculty’s leadership, programme coordinator, and key administrative staff. Key highlights of the itinerary included curriculum review, interviews with academics and BOM-ODL students, and was concluded by an exit meeting.
