On 10 June 2025, the MMU community came together in the true spirit of Aidiladha to celebrate sacrifice, compassion, and unity at both its Cyberjaya and Melaka campuses.

At the Cyberjaya campus, Surau Al-Hidayah hosted the Qurban (sacrificial rites) session, which included the skinning and weighing of the sacrificial meat. Staff and students were actively involved in the preparations, including cooking lunch for all attendees. The highlight of the event was the distribution of meat by MMU President, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, to staff and students. The gathering concluded with a communal lunch and Zuhur prayers, creating a warm and festive atmosphere for the MMU Muslim community.

Simultaneously, the Melaka campus held its Aidiladha celebration at Dataran Permata, hosted by Masjid Al-Irsyad in collaboration with BAKIT, MESRA, KELAB SUKARELAWAN MMU & Institusi Usrah (IU). The event featured an uplifting and reflective talk titled “Korban Cinta,” which offered spiritual insights into the true meaning of sacrifice in conjunction with Aidiladha.

These campus-wide celebrations not only marked the holy occasion of Aidiladha but also strengthened the bonds within the MMU community. The university’s commitment to upholding Islamic values while fostering unity and compassion was clearly reflected in the participation and contributions of its members across both campuses.
