A Knowledge Transfer Programme (KTP) was conducted by the Faculty of Management (FOM) titled “Coexist with Mother Earth: Practice Green Habits for a Cleaner Planet” at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Cyberjaya on 18 June 2025. A total of 70 Form 1 and 2 students from the Kelab Rekabentuk Teknologi participated in this initiative.

Guided by their teacher-advisor, Cikgu Hidayat, the students actively engaged in a series of educational and practical sessions facilitated by FOM academicians. Led by Professor Dr. Chong Chin Wei, the team members included Dr. Tim Tan Chi Hau, Alvis Chan Man Seong, Noor Shahaliza Othman, Nurul Atiah Mohd Zin, Fatin Zaida Zaidi, and Nor Samsuhada Ahmad.

The programme aimed to raise awareness of the importance of green habits and to expose students to simple, practical actions that can help preserve and protect the environment. By focusing on everyday practices such as reducing waste, reusing materials, and recycling effectively, the students learned how even small efforts can contribute meaningfully to the well-being of the planet.

The session featured interactive activities and reflection exercises, which not only deepened the students’ understanding of environmental sustainability but also inspired them to adopt more responsible habits in their daily lives.

This initiative shows MMU’s continued effort to engage with the community and promote environmental awareness, with the goal of encouraging young people to better understand and take responsibility for their role in caring for the planet.
