On 16 June 2025, a group of students, including those from the Master of Engineering Business Management (EBM) programme at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Engineering (FAIE) visited AIREI Sdn. Bhd. in Cyberjaya. The industrial visit, coordinated by the Industrial Linkage Committee (ILC), aimed to provide students with first-hand exposure to the practical applications of smart technologies in modern industries.

During the visit, students were introduced to AIREI’s core offerings, which focus on Industry 4.0 solutions powered by artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and cloud technologies. The session covered predictive analytics, machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP)—all of which are employed by AIREI to optimize industrial processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Students were also briefed on AIREI’s innovative Smart Mill project—an AI-driven palm oil mill concept designed to address key industry challenges such as labour dependency and production inefficiencies. These technologies reflect AIREI’s commitment to sustainable and data-driven operations.

The visit concluded with a discussion on the integration of engineering and business management strategies in driving industrial transformation. Students gained valuable insights into how real-world applications of AI can support data-informed decision-making and sustainable development.
